aniline leather
The Italian aniline leather that we use is renowned for its unique softness and natural surface. Aniline leather is made from premium quality raw hides that have been immersed in vats of aniline dye, which penetrates the hide so that the colour permeates all the way through. It receives no further treatment after dyeing, so it remains very soft and has a highly natural look and the leather continues to breathe. Aniline leather will age beautifully and gain a wonderful patina but is less resistant to scratches or stains so regular feeding with a proprietary Leather Food is advised to maintain its unique appearance.
cashmere/wool
Cashmere is the most expensive and sought-after type of wool in the world. It comes from the fleece of Himalayan mountain goats – the hair fibres are combed from the underside of the neck and chest of the animals before they are sheared – and is extremely expensive. The fine cashmere we use at Voga.com is mixed with stronger wool to ensure it can withstand the normal wear and tear associated with furniture. You can order free samples of our cashmere/wool blend, so that you can appreciate its quality and see the true colour.
cow skin
Our cow skins are the natural unbleached skin and hair of a cow. The cow skin will retain its natural appearance for a long time. Cow skin offers maximum value for texture, durability and comfort. It is easy to care for and is dirt and water resistant. Natural marks and colour makes each product completely unique.
semi-aniline leather
Semi-aniline leather is a full-grained leather that has been surface treated – after the initial dyeing process, a clear, protective coating is added to help the leather resist stains and fading. It combines the natural look of aniline leather with excellent durability and easy maintenance.
thick semi-aniline leather
We use extra thick semi-aniline leather on selected pieces of furniture.
