PH 3/2 Academy aluminium (replica)
- Replica of Poul Henningsen’s PH 3/2 Academy pendent
Poul Henningsen’s PH 3/2 Academy chrome pendant lamp is the chandelier version of his ground-breaking 1925 PH lamp, which through its clever positioning of concentric opal glass shades (shiny on their upper sides, sand-blasted matt beneath), creates a diffused, glare-free light, which decreases in intensity as it moves away from its source.
The PH range also includes wall, floor and table lamps, with varying sizes of shade – combining two or three produces a warm, welcoming ambience that contributes immeasurably to that essentially Danish phenomenon, ‘hygge’.

"PH 3/2 Academy"
"Ordered a PH 3/2 Academy at the beginning end of august 2011, the order showed that the delivery time would be 13-14 weeks, so great was the surprise when it showed up in early september, the lamp was supplied in the garage wrapped in a fine plywood box with a normal temperature. cardboard box indeni.Min biggest concern was the light quality, I already have 2 " true " PH 1/2 glass pendant. Min " false " PH 3/2 Academy hangs today in the dining room and if they do not begin to take it apart, no one notice that it is not " true "," there is no immediate visible difference to the screens of the two " real " PH 1/2 glass pendant that hangs in the living room next and finish is fine-General on the lamp. "OK ..... the second time around!"
"I wanted to give the lamp a higher grade for the materials which the lamp is made of is super, but the first delivery of the lamp, were 2 of the arm faulty or missing screws, at No. 2 delivery, by one arm loose, the could be tightened, but I thought lacking a little quality control before the goods sendes.Der beyond voting the lamp, I have been delivered, not with the images that are on the website, which I think is a big mistake, so a a little mischief playing for a lamp that could be super good and beautiful.
