Petit Confort Chair LC2 (replica)
- Reproduction of Charles Le Corbusier’s LC2
One of Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and Perriand’s earliest designs, the 1928 LC2 or ‘Petit Confort’ is an unashamedly luxurious chair. The seemingly contradictory combination of plump, aniline leather-clad cushions and an unyielding tubular steel frame originated from sketches made by Perriand in response to Le Corbusier’s challenge to create three chairs, one for conversation (the LC1), one for relaxing (the LC2) and one for sleeping (the LC4).
Partner it with the matching ‘Petit Confort’ sofas, for all-out Bauhaus style.
