Jo Hammerborg, 1920-1982
Trained as a silversmith, Jo Hammerborg pioneered modern Danish lighting. His designs introduced sleek minimalism and understated beauty to the Danish lighting landscape, and helped launch his longstanding twenty-three year career at lighting company, Fog & Mørup. At Fog & Mørup he achieved both creative and commercial success, winning several international awards, with his input reviving and strengthening the company.
