This one-seat sofa by American architect Florence Knoll is part of a collection of streamlined sofas she designed in 1954, and is available in aniline leather or a cashmere/wool blend.
Knoll felt architects should also design furniture, although she was modest about her own; in fact, her designs have stood the test of time, belying their age and combining effortlessly with both vintage and contemporary pieces.
